US NM: Editorial: Medical Pot Goes Public
Albuquerque Journal, 03 Aug 2011 – The first New Mexico Medical Marijuana and Natural Healing Expo was held in Albuquerque last weekend, and thousands were expected to attend. US NM: Editorial: DEA Shouldn’t Offer Medical Opinions
Clovis News Journal, 21 Jul 2011 – Once again, government servants have told Americans that marijuana ranks right up there with heroin. We do not ask cops to make laws; we pay cops to enforce the laws established by constitutions or enacted by the people or the decisions of their representatives.

US NM: Editorial: Merida Money: Withholding It Is Good Idea
Las Cruces Sun-News, 06 Oct 2010 – Officials at the U.S. State Department are recommending that some Merida Initiative money be held back until Mexico shows that it is making more of an effort to control ongoing and escalating violence problems in that country. Merida is a three-year plan that would give Mexico $1.4 billion to help in various phases of the fight against drug cartels. The money is to be given out in phases.
