Honolulu Star-Advertiser, 28 Jan 2013 – I read in the paper that drug advocate forces are preparing legislation that, if passed, could eventually lead to legalization of marijuana in Hawaii. These are powerful lobbying organizations. Anyone including youth, parents, future parents and kupuna who support the ohana values so important to Hawaii will have to rely on the vision of legislators who understand that even small unnoticed steps toward legalization can lead our state deeper into the drug problems we are fighting today.
