Aurora Sentinel, 09 Aug 2012 – AURORA – Adolescents with access to medical marijuana that’s prescribed to someone else tend to start smoking at a younger age and are more susceptible to abuse, dependence and symptoms of conduct disorder. That’s according to a new study conducted by researchers at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, that looked at the use of medical marijuana by adolescents aged 14 to 18 years old. Stacy Salomonsen-Sautel, a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Medicine’s Department of Pharmacology, was the lead author of the study, which also involved input from the school’s Department of Psychiatry.

US CO: PUB LTE: Thanks For Lindstrom Marijuana Column
Summit Daily News, 28 Jun 2012 – Re. "Let’s get serious about marijuana" by Gary Lindstrom, guest commentary, May 27 Thank you Gary Lindstrom for your article on marijuana. I am familiar with you, your service work and all that you have done around Summit County and I am so thankful for your stance on this issue as well as the guts you displayed to put it out there. I remember when you were elected coroner and I’m sure that job has not been easy given what you have seen/experienced. So from the bottom of my grateful heart – thank you!
