Longtime Sonoma County resident Joseph Reiter is suing the Sheriff’s Office after deputies uprooted 119 plants he was growing in his backyard for himself and three other medical marijuana patients.

The Press Democrat, 30 Jul 2012 – Santa Rosa detectives were surfing Craigslist one day when they came across a "for sale" posting that caught their attention. Someone was offering top-shelf marijuana — described as "crystal-laden" and "very distinctly scented" — for $2,700 a pound.
