US MI: LTE: Follow Florida On Drug Tests

Holland Sentinel, 22 Jan 2013 – Zeeland – William Hapner’s letter in Friday’s Sentinel about drug tests for welfare applicants was great. I have to take drug tests to maintain my commercial driver’s license for work – people who are on welfare should also. There are jobs out there but, in some cases, employers can’t hire people because so many of them fail their drug test. I hope Gov. Rick Snyder does like Gov. Rick Scott from Florida did and signs a new law for drug testing for welfare recipients. The money saved could fix some of our roads and not raise gas taxes.
