Appeal-Democrat, 17 Oct 2010 – Carmen Jehu ("Just say no to Prop. 19," Oct. 3 letter to the editor) may not realize it, but voting yes or no on Proposition 19 is like the difference between what’s right and wrong. Punishing and persecuting responsible adults for using the plant cannabis (marijuana) is immoral and just plain wrong. North America has suffered long enough paying the ultimate price for the devil law known as cannabis prohibition, and it’s time to end that embarrassing part of American history.
