But I’ll tell where the punishment doesn’t fit the crime: Just about everywhere else in our criminal justice system.

The Trentonian, 12 Dec 2012 – So I’m in the local dollar store the other day when I stumble upon a $1 marijuana test kit. Allow me to repeat this: A $1 marijuana test kit. I am glad such items as a "$1 marijuana test kit" did not exist during my teenage years. (And 20-something years, but whatever.) Because if a "$1 marijuana test kit" did exist back in 1989, I would’ve been totally busted.

The Trentonian, 20 Oct 2012 – The Weedman did it. Make no mistake about it: The victory Ed Forchion — the NJWEEDMAN — enjoyed on Thursday in the Burlington County Courthouse certainly sets the stage for other marijuana users to upend the unjust New Jersey (and national) marijuana laws.

Instead of fighting against the Man, I just kind of smile and side-step and pretend to be looking at a pebble on the ground when the Man approaches. But make no mistake: I don’t like the Man. Don’t want to be the Man, either. Not only do I hate being told what to do, I equally hate telling others what to do. I’d be an anarchist, except that just seems too messy. I guess I’m a Libertarian, but an arch conservative within that movement. More or less.

Especially after New Jersey legislators seem to have some momentum to get a law decriminalizing marijuana possession up to about a half-ounce. While that’s all well and good, why don’t we take it to it’s logical conclusion: Legalize everything.
