US CO: PUB LTE: America Should Go To Pot

Boulder Weekly, 14 Oct 2010 – ("Oakland goes to pot," The Highroad, Oct. 7.) Hopefully, it isn’t just Oakland going to pot, but rather the entire state of California with all of North America following them. Californian citizens have an opportunity to vote yes on Proposition 19 this Nov. 2, effectively ending cannabis (marijuana) prohibition and extermination.

US ME: PUB LTE: Legalize Pot?

Times Record, 14 Oct 2010 – Teenagers should not be using cigarettes, alcohol or cannabis (marijuana) but teens are choosing cannabis over cigarettes for a number of reasons the article "Sagadahoc Teens Like Pot Better Than Butts" published in your newspaper on Oct. 4 didn’t mention. Teens are more easily able to purchase cannabis because it is illegal, unregulated and sold on the black market by people who don’t card for age. Teens have gotten the message that cigarettes are among the most addictive substances on the planet and they kill more than 1,000 Americans daily.

US MI: PUB LTE: Right-Wing Hypocrites

Metro Times, 13 Oct 2010 – Attorney General candidate Bill Schuette may believe the misconception that attacking sick citizens for using the God-given plant cannabis (marijuana) is somehow being tough on crime (Higher Ground, "Pot, Pols and Polls," Oct. 6), but that action’s consequence actually creates crime. Same thing with cannabis prohibition in general; since it creates crime, prohibitionists should be thought of as being soft on crime. Allowing cartels and the black market, with their violent nature, to regulate cannabis, is being soft on crime. Republican hypocrisy doesn’t end with the cannabis issue, but rather starts with the cannabis issue. Cannabis prohibition isn’t consistent with Republican ideals, such as states’ rights, smaller federal government, free trade, capitalism, constitutional rights, etc.

US CO: PUB LTE: Support For Marijuana Legalization

Denver Daily News, 12 Oct 2010 – Dear Editor: It’s very encouraging to read that Mason Tvert and Laura Kriho are planning (Marijuana legalization on the ballot? Oct. 6, Denver Daily News) a ballot imitative in Colorado to relegalize cannabis (marijuana) again. Hopefully relegalizing the God-given plant will also lead to Colorado farmers growing hemp.

US CA: Edu: PUB LTE: Attitudes Toward Cannabis Are Changing

City on a Hill Press, 14 Oct 2010 – It’s encouraging to read that laws and attitudes toward cannabis (marijuana) are changing ("County Starts Regulating Medical Marijuana Dispensaries," Oct. 7). California was the first state to prohibit the relatively safe, God-given plant cannabis, the first to legalize it for sick citizens and now may become the first to re-legalize it completely by voting "YES" on Proposition 19. A sane or moral reason to cage responsible adults for using the plant doesn’t exist. Ending cannabis prohibition and extermination in North America is one of the most important issues of our time.

US CA: PUB LTE: Pot Debate Is Over

Merced Sun-Star, 11 Oct 2010 – Editor: Make no mistake, Proposition 19 is the way (Editorial: "Want legal pot? Prop. 19 isn’t the way," Sun-Star on Monday) to begin ending cannabis (marijuana) prohibition in North America. The opportunity for "a serious debate" is over. Millions of Americans are hoping and praying California voters do the right thing and end the immoral devil law known as cannabis prohibition. And now there is another reason for Californians to vote yes on Prop. 19, since prohibitionist Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger even acknowledged cannabis laws are wrong and waste limited resources by signing Senate Bill 1449.

US CA: PUB LTE: God Said All Plants Are Good – Including

The Union, 09 Oct 2010 – Isn’t it kind of an oxymoron trying to combine "facts" with attempting to perpetuate the discredited prohibition of cannabis (marijuana) since that prohibition is thoroughly entrenched in lies, half-truths and propaganda (‘Just the Facts’ Panelists: Don’t Legalize Pot, Sept. 24, 2010)? Fact is, a reason to re-legalize cannabis that doesn’t get mentioned is because it is Biblically correct since Christ God Our Father indicates He created all the seed bearing plants, saying they are all good, on literally the very first page (see Genesis 1:11-12 and 29-30). The only Biblical restriction placed on cannabis is that it be accepted with thankfulness (see 1 Timothy 4:1-5).

US CA: PUB LTE: It’s Time To End The Ignorance, Vote Yes On

Morgan Hill Times, 07 Oct 2010 – Dear Editor, The Morgan Hill Times editorial ("Reasons to Support Proposition 19 Are Numerous; Vote Yes," Sept. 21, 2010), got an arrow splitting bull’s eye exposing so many reasons to end cannabis (marijuana) prohibition.

US CA: PUB LTE: God On Pot

San Diego City Beat, 06 Oct 2010 – San Diego CityBeat pointed out some of the ridiculousness of banning medical cannabis (marijuana) dispensaries [Editorial," Sept. 22] within a certain distance of various buildings. The one that strikes me as ridiculous, though wasn’t mentioned, is places of worship. Why would a place of worship, which is often a Christian church, be opposed to medical-cannabis dispensaries or cannabis in general? Christ God Our Father indicates He created all the seed-bearing plants, saying they’re all good on literally the very first page of the Bible. And I’d like to answer that.

US MI: PUB LTE: Marijuana Is Biblical

The Daily Telegram, 05 Oct 2010 – To the editor, The Daily Telegram editorial "Medical Marijuana Law In Need Of Cure" (Sept. 26), hit the bull’s-eye; Congress should ease the federal prohibition of cannabis (marijuana). Another reason to stop caging sick citizens for using cannabis that doesn’t get mentioned is because it is biblically correct since God indicates He created all the seed bearing plants saying they are all good, on literally the very first page (see Genesis 1:11-12 and 29-30). The only biblical restriction placed on cannabis is that it be accepted with thankfulness (see 1 Timothy 4:1-5). And "But whoever has the world’s goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him?" (see 1 John 3:17).
